…A new site…

So the new site is up and all the neat stuff is in it. I made it easier for me to update (so maybe I’ll do it once in a while…) and now you can comment on what I write. The Message Board is still there in case you want to talk about some other topic. Since you have to register to comment, I imported the users from the Message Board but lost the passwords. You don’t need to sign up again but you’ll need to reset your password to comment. If you have trouble, email me using the link at the top of the page.

I also added some new links and obviously changed the layout. I hope you like it. Let me know if something doesn’t work.

In the next week or so I’ll be setting up a way for you to be notified when I post something new or someone comments on it. Hopefully some reminders that people are looking at it will keep me moving.

So Oswego is sold. Let’s hope that some new blood will bring some luster back to the old girl. Will we get to come back? Maybe?

I got a few texts from Jason last Sunday. 4 car fields at Evans Mills? Ike Stone on a tear? Jason says he’ll drag my old car back there and try to stop his rampage.

I got a call from RJ the other day saying that open practice is open to everyone, including the Super Stocks. Need to get dialed in for RoC or at least see if the car’s going to stay together? I briefly considered thrashing to get mine together for it but I’m just not going to have the cash to do it. So I’ll see how things go with making a stop at Spencer or Evans Mills.

A new year and a new look. Well, maybe the year isn’t so new but the look is. I decided that in my copious spare time I’d give the site a makeover using some mad skillz I’ve picked up during the last few weeks. I can’t guarantee it will be any prettier but it should be done properly.

So what’s going on with the racing world? Is Oswego sold or not? Will we get to race there again or not? I think the sale is a foregone conclusion. Whether we’ll race there regularly is still doubtful but Race of Champions will probably continue. I’m looking forward to being there for it.

So what else is there? Evans Mills? Looks like the dirt guys took over. I’m not ready to compete in the motor department so I’m probably going to pass. Spencer? I imagine the small changes in the rules will be enough to get me there for a few shows anyway. Shangri-La 2? I really want to try it out but I don’t know if my car is stock enough or fast enough to make it there. Perry? Jeff suggested I give it a shot but man, that’s a long haul. We’ll see. I think Jason is going to join me for a couple shows depending on where I decide so I’ll probably talk it over with him.
