A new beginning?

Another one?

This is my car. I’ve been talking to Jason and his addiction seems to be contagious. I bought some parts last week and got the garage cleaned up so I suppose I’d better get to work on the car. It still needs a diet and the frame needs to be straightened but I’ve got pretty much everything I need to put it together. I do need to get the valves fixed in my heads but the rest of the motor is in pretty good shape. I’ll be trying to get them to the shop in the next week.

…A new site…

So the new site is up and all the neat stuff is in it. I made it easier for me to update (so maybe I’ll do it once in a while…) and now you can comment on what I write. The Message Board is still there in case you want to talk about some other topic. Since you have to register to comment, I imported the users from the Message Board but lost the passwords. You don’t need to sign up again but you’ll need to reset your password to comment. If you have trouble, email me using the link at the top of the page.

I also added some new links and obviously changed the layout. I hope you like it. Let me know if something doesn’t work.

In the next week or so I’ll be setting up a way for you to be notified when I post something new or someone comments on it. Hopefully some reminders that people are looking at it will keep me moving.

5/6/11

So Oswego is sold. Let’s hope that some new blood will bring some luster back to the old girl. Will we get to come back? Maybe?

I got a few texts from Jason last Sunday. 4 car fields at Evans Mills? Ike Stone on a tear? Jason says he’ll drag my old car back there and try to stop his rampage.

I got a call from RJ the other day saying that open practice is open to everyone, including the Super Stocks. Need to get dialed in for RoC or at least see if the car’s going to stay together? I briefly considered thrashing to get mine together for it but I’m just not going to have the cash to do it. So I’ll see how things go with making a stop at Spencer or Evans Mills.
